I’ve really enjoyed these sandals, they have good traction and it is so nice that I can wear them in and around water (unlike my leather barefoot sandals). They are definitely heavier, and I have extra wide feet and it was hard to account for that in sizing without a printer. I went with sizing based on my measurements and I’m still unsure if I should have gone with sizing based on my “normal” shoe size because I went a size smaller than normal and I debate if the next size up would have been better but figured it was close enough to not deal with the exchange stuff. Over all, I do really like them and have been wearing them almost daily. I really like that I can slip them on and adjust as needed opposed to having to do a buckle like my other barefoot shoes, because I have a new baby and the easier shoes are the better!

If you got narrow feet, really make sure you order the smallest size possible. Otherwise the sole could be a little too wide for you.

The only reason why I bought from this brand is because they had animal-free barefoot sandals, without leather. They are vegan. I have been looking for barefoot vegan sandals that were not 300$ each pairs for a year.
On the picture, you have from left to right, the Zuzu Flow, the Zuzu Flex and the Zuzu Dune, in size 42, that I have choose with the size guide printed.
They are from Israël (did not know that tho), and to receive them to Canada, it took 15 days, with approx. 62$CAD of customs tax. The price for those 3 pairs was approx. 355$ CAD.
I cannot talk about how nice it is to walk or run with them, as I just received them! But they truly seem solid!

I started with the Flow which I wear all the time. However, I was finding I needed some extra cushion for walks on harder surfaces. Purchased both the Groove and Flex and extremely happy. The plan is the Groove with vegan laces for a nicer sandal and switching between the Flex and Flow for walks, hikes, beach walks, etc. I live in these sandals until it get to cold. Great product and happy all models are back in stock.

I love evwrythint about these shoes. I have worn them for a week now and i have zero notes. Perfect in every way. Ive run in them, river hiked, and i wore them to church. Very nice quality and the custom fit and over all design is perfect. I havent been impressed with sny purchase lately, so these are a breath of fresh air. Well done Zuzu!

Will they fit my foot shape?
ZuZu Sandals are designed with an adjustable strap system, so you can fine-tune the fit around your foot instead of relying only on a fixed upper. It works well for many foot shapes, including feet that need a bit more space around the toes.
For the best fit, print the size guide and check the exact shape of the sandal.
What if I choose the wrong size?
No problem. Try them indoors first, on a clean surface, and keep the sandals in new condition until you are sure about the fit.
For US customers, the first exchange is free. If the size does not feel right, we’ll help you switch to the right pair without charging an exchange shipping fee.
How fast do they ship?
Most orders ship the same day or the next business day. Delivery speed depends on the shipping method you choose at checkout, with worldwide express options available.

Is there a break-in period for the toe straps?
The straps are made to feel comfortable from the first wear, without the harsh break-in period people often expect from toe-post sandals.
To get that comfy feel, follow our adjustment guide to find the right strap tension. The sandal should feel secure, but not tight. Once adjusted correctly once, it should sit naturally on the foot.
Is Groove good as a first barefoot sandal?
Yes. If you're new to minimalist footwear, Groove is the perfect place to start. It gives you freedom to move, gentle cushioning for hard surfaces, and just the right ground feel to stay connected.
Are they durable enough for travel and hiking?
Yes. Groove was designed to endure more, from walking, travel, city, and outdoor use.
The 3 layered stack gives it more structure and cushion for more intense usage.
The outsole is made from our natural rubber and rice husk compound, with a lug pattern designed for grip, flexibility, and ground feel.
Do they stay comfortable when your feet sweat?
Groove is an excellent choice for warm weather and active days. The open design keeps the foot free, and the vegan leather footbed gives great breathability and moisture wicking which becomes even more important when traveling in humid regions.
Can they get wet?
Groove is water-friendly, but performs best dry. It handles sweat very well, but when fully soaked, the smooth footbed can feel a bit slippery.
For occasional dips or wet ground, a snug strap fit should keep things secure. If you’re often in wet conditions and want extra traction underfoot, we recommend checking out Flex or Flow for better wet grip.
Can I run in them?
Yes. Groove works well for barefoot-style running, especially if you already have some experience with minimal footwear.
It has a 10mm stack, so it gives more underfoot protection than our thinnest models while still keeping a flexible, zero-drop barefoot feel. That balance makes it a good option for running, and active everyday use.
If you’re new to barefoot running, start gradually. Minimal footwear uses your feet and calves differently than cushioned running shoes, so begin with short, easy runs or walk-run sessions and build up over time.
