FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

Will they fit my foot shape?

ZuZu Sandals are designed with an adjustable strap system, so you can fine-tune the fit around your foot instead of relying only on a fixed upper. It works well for many foot shapes, including feet that need a bit more space around the toes.

For the best fit, print the size guide and check the exact shape of the sandal.

What if I choose the wrong size?

No problem. Try them indoors first, on a clean surface, and keep the sandals in new condition until you are sure about the fit.

For US customers, the first exchange is free. If the size does not feel right, we’ll help you switch to the right pair without charging an exchange shipping fee.

How fast do they ship?

Most orders ship the same day or the next business day. Delivery speed depends on the shipping method you choose at checkout, with worldwide express options available.

If you need your order for a trip or a specific event, contact us right after placing the order. We’ll do our best to prioritize it and fit your schedule.

Is there a break-in period for the toe straps?

The straps are made to feel comfortable from the first wear, without the harsh break-in period people often expect from toe-post sandals.

To get that comfy feel, follow our adjustment guide to find the right strap tension. The sandal should feel secure, but not tight. Once adjusted correctly once, it should sit naturally on the foot.

Is Flow good as a first barefoot sandal?

Yes, Flow can be a good first barefoot sandal if you’re looking for a very minimal, flexible feel.

It has almost no cushioning, so your feet will feel more of the ground than they would in regular sandals or sneakers. If you’re new to barefoot-style footwear, we recommend starting with shorter walks and building up gradually.

If you prefer a softer transition into barefoot sandals, one of our thicker models may be a better starting point.

Are they durable enough for travel and hiking?

Yes. Flow was designed as a lightweight sandal for real daily use, walking, travel, beach days, city days, and light outdoor use.

The outsole is made from our natural rubber and rice husk compound, with a lug pattern designed for grip, flexibility, and ground feel.

Do they stay comfortable when your feet sweat?

Flow is a good choice for warm weather and active days. The open design keeps the foot breathable, and the canvas footbed gives a more secure, less slippery feel than smooth footbeds when your feet get a bit sweaty. In extreme heat or heavy sweat, any sandal can feel different, but Flow was built with summer walking and travel in mind.

Can they get wet?

Flow does well in and around water. Whether you're crossing a stream, walking a wet trail, or washing your floors, the canvas footbed gives solid grip and keeps you steady.

After they get wet, let them dry naturally. For best long-term care, avoid leaving them soaked for long periods or drying them with strong direct heat.

Can I run in them?

Some people do run in Flow, but if you’re new to barefoot running, transition gradually and consider starting with a thicker model (like Flex or Groove). The sandal is flexible, zero-drop, and secure enough for active use, but running in minimal footwear uses your feet and calves differently than cushioned running shoes.

Start with short, easy runs or walk-run sessions, and build up slowly.
