If you're new to barefoot-style footwear, Flow isn't the classic first step.

It delivers the most primal experience of all our models, with a 100% upcycled car tire sole stripped down to the bare minimum.

Flow is perfect for experienced barefoot walkers who want maximum ground feel, and while it offers no cushioning, many first-timers grow to love it after easing in and letting their feet gradually adapt.

Barefoot Running

Yes, running in sandals is a thing - and it goes way back. The Tarahumara tribe, whose sandal style inspires our designs, are known for their legendary long-distance running.

ZuZu Flow is our modern take on that ancient concept, blending repurposed car tire soles with updated materials and fit. It’s built for freedom and feel, just like the origins.

That said, the Tarahumara spent a lifetime running wild. Flow is best suited for experienced barefoot runners, especially on trails and natural paths. If you’re looking for a more forgiving and adaptable option, check out the other models too.

Water Performance

Flow does well in and around water. Whether you're crossing a stream, walking a wet trail, or washing your floors, the tire sole gives solid grip and keeps you steady.

The textured footbed helps with traction, and it dries quickly, so you're good to go again in no time.

Care Instructions

To keep your sandals with you for the long run, it’s best to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high heat (like inside a closed car). That can damage the materials and lead to faster wear.

If dirt or dust builds up, it’s recommended to gently wash them with lukewarm water and soap, using a brush or on a delicate wash cycle (up to 30°C).

To prevent odor, make sure to dry the sandals well after each wash or water adventure - preferably under direct sunlight until fully dry, and don’t leave them wet and unventilated for too long.
